DANGEROUS intersection Open

1300-1398 W Jackson Rd Carrollton, TX 75006, USA - Carrollton

This needs to be a 4-way stop, not 2-way!!! Drivers on Broadway don't realize that drivers on Jackson don't have to stop! Also, going northbound on Broadway- you can't clearly see traffic headed eastbound on Jackson! This intersection is very poorly maintained and now with construction workers from the train being built, the traffic is getting heavier and thus more dangerous!!

  Respectfully disagree. The stop signs have a regulatory sign below that reads, "Cross traffic does not stop". That clearly tells drivers on Broadway that Jackson drivers have priority and won't stop. Although there are some trees in the distance and have some limited views, if you cautiously drive up to the stop sign you can see traffic heading eastbound. Suggest closure--no action.

  I know there is a sign that says that, but apparently many others don't. I've seen quite a few near-accidents and it's only going to get worse as traffic grows heavier when the train opens. And it's not "trees in the distance"- get on Broadway heading north and tell me how great your visibility is of drivers coming eastbound on Jackson...

Rough track, and how about a sidewalk? Archived

1932 Kelly Blvd Carrollton, TX 75006 - Carrollton

Not only is the crossing rough for cars, but there are sidewalks on either side of the tracks but no place for a safe foot or bike crossing. Pedestrians/bikers either have to enter the street or try to cross through uneven rocks, ties, and rails, and a twisted ankle is very likely. A paved pedestrian crossing would be extremely helpful!

Potholes large enough to eat a small car Archived

1491 Hebron Pkwy W Carrollton, TX 75010 - Carrollton

There is only one way for north-bound traffic to reach these businesses - a small, unmaintained road.

Since there is a 7-11 and Taco Bueno here, and because these businesses are right off 121, 18 wheelers use this small road which have created pot holes so large, a small car would run the risk of not being able to get out of one, especially when it rains.

What you see in this picture is just one part of this road, there's more but you are only allowed to upload one picture here.

  If you want to see the difference in roads, just be a passenger in a car from Farmers Branch to Carrollton even blindfolded you can tell when you get into Carrollton because their streets are horrible, and of course FB's are the best in North Texas. I hope all the Carrollton commuters appreciate what FB does to keep roads in tiptop shape and they should demand the same from their government.

There's a large pothole Northbound on Midway between the Checker Flag car wash and 4100 Midway Rd. It's in the right lane. If you hit it you will be cursing it's very deep.

There is a shrub growing from down below the bridge that has scaled up to 4+ feet above the bridge and blocks the view of oncoming cars for those turning right onto Old Denton (Luna) from Broadway.

Due to all the large trucks hauling to the waste facility in Hebron, there are several large pot holes where the asphalt has sunk in the heat. The one ones on the east bound lane at the railroad bridge are particularly hazardous.

  Alley of McCoy and Savoy the quick fix dump tar is not working. It is costing money to do this every few months. just fix it right the first time. Its a hazard to cars and danger to bike riders

Insane Pot Holes - We want our street REPAVED! Open

2040 Kings Rd Carrollton, TX 75007 - Carrollton

Dozens of severe pot holes litter our street. They are caused by the roots of the Live Oak trees that line the spaces between the sidewalk & curb, on the entire half of the street west of Furneaux. Ash Hill, directly south of us, has been repaved within the last 5 years. It's our turn now! Stop repairing the pot holes - IT NEVER WORKS! It's a total waste of taxpayer money. Also, please take a look at the EAST end of King's Road - there are no Live Oak trees, and the street's smooth and even. No pot holes at all! Obviously the trees are causing the problem, and just filling the pot holes will NOT fix it! Carrollton, it's time to do right by your taxpayers on Kings Road and repave our street!
