The sidewalk at the corner of Strong Place and Willow Street is never, ever shoveled. It is very dangerous and slippery when there is snow and ice, because it is a hilly street.
In other cities, landlords are fined if they do not shovel their sidewalks.

There is an old Christmas tree that somebody just threw on the sidewalk!
It hasn't even been picked up by the D.P.W. Trash Collectors! It has been there for approximately 4 weeks and NOTHING has been done about it!
PLEASE REMOVE THIS!!! THANK YOU!!!
34 Willow Street Cohoes, New YorkSomeone left an old TV set on the sidewalk here.
Please remove it and stop leaving your garbage all over the place! Other people have to LIVE in this neighborhood and they don't want to see your trash left all over the place!
26 Willow St. Cohoes, NYThis empty lot was decently cleared of brush, branches, and low-hanging trees last year. Now it's all overgrown again. I don't know who owns this lot, but someone needs to take responsibility for it. There are weeds and brush growing up in the sidewalks and up telephone poles.

There are still many people parking on the sidewalk of the empty lot on Willow Street. They think that just because the curb isn't 6 inches high, that they can park wherever they feel like it!!
You are supposed to park on the PAVEMENT, not on the SIDEWALK!

The entire sidewalk near the empty lot on Willow Street is completely overgrown with weeds and tree branches.
The City of Cohoes should clear these, because it makes it difficult for people to park there due to all the overgrowth which scratches your car.
(Not to mention, it makes a great hiding place for skunks and other unwanted rodents to hide in this jungle of an empty lot.)
The branches and weeds also totally cover the sidewalk, requiring pedestrians (especially the numerous children which live in the neighborhood) to cross the street, which is already a dangerous street due to speeders as well as people driving the WRONG DIRECTION up this ONE-WAY street, because there are no DO NOT ENTER signs at the bottom of the street.
