Agree, something has to be done about the post road traffic. I as well as many others I know avoid the post road as much as they can. The traffic lights need to be in sync and the road just prior to Griebs pharmacy should be allowed to turn left as it use to. It is difficult to get around town and so many times I wanted to visit the merchants when at Griebs but I didn't feel like only turning left to go all the way around, get stuck at a minimum of 3 traffic lights only to not be able to find a parking spot. I am sorry but I shop in Stamford and Norwalk 98% of the time. I know many others that do as well. Its a shame.
Correction, when I shop at Griebs I have to make a right turn sending me into the whirlwind of traffic and if I am lucky I can turn left at the light at Uncles Deli. However, if I could make a left onto the post road which makes sense it wouldn't be as difficult. You shouldn't send traffic in one direction on an already heavily traffic road which just bottlenecks more so. Parking is already difficult around town which in itself is fustrating. I feel bad for the merchants because I think they lose business because the town cannot move forward on important issues. Please, the town has been talking for years about doing something about it, when will the talk stop andimprovements implemented.
