Years and years of neglect for the buildings at 25, 31, and 37 Brompton make the immediate area an eyesore.
I so agree. Is there anything we can do about it?
In November 2008, the City adopted the Community Preservation and Blight Ordinance allowing DPW to establish procedures for the enforcement and abatement of Private Property Blight.
Perhaps if enough people support this "fix" then we can report it to DPW under this ordinance (Admin Code 80). See http://www.amlegal.com/nxt/gateway.dll/California/administrative/chapter80anti-blightenforcementprocedure
for definition of blight. Although the ordinance is primarily used to deal with graffiti, I think this situation clearly falls within the definition.
