Thank you for reporting the overgrown trees/bushes blocking the area to the City of St. Charles. Our Public Works Department has been notified about this request and it is scheduled for review. We appreciate your help in improving the look of our City!

A letter has been sent to the resident requesting the trees and overhang be trimmed to provide 9’ clearance over sidewalks; 14’ clearance over all major streets; and 12’ clearance over all other streets in accordance with per Section 225.050 by August 5, 2014. They are also to remove and dispose of all trimmings and debris upon completion. If the above is not completed by the referenced date the trees and overhang will be trimmed and removed by the City with the cost then being assessed against the owner or occupant.
