Bees are an important part of our environment, so I'm hoping that this issue was handled by an experienced beekeeper. That person would obtain a new hive of bees, and the bees would have the new place to live that they are looking for!!! This is the way to deal with swarms of bees.... but it calls for an experienced person!! Do you have listings of beekeepers?

Very true! I don't want them to kill off the bees, not at all. Just get someone who knows what they are doing to resolve the issue. There is an NYC Beekeeping association, I just contacted them to see what they can suggest.

This issue has been resolved, we will continue to monitor the area.

I hope the bees are happy in a new home, and their new hive-owner happy also. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO WHOEVER RESOLVED THIS. Swarms are so busy protecting their new Queen, they are not always the best choosers of where best to land and set up a new home. ;) An FDNY callbox would've been a problem! Thanks!!!
