Description
Hello,
Can we get a stop sign or a speed bump installed by Rollingwood Dr. Coming from Skyview monorail please?
People coming in speed of 50-60 mph down the hill. We've been having hard time parking by the side due to the high speed of the incoming vehicles.
Please advise. Thank you.

Ms. Hennessy

Thanks for reporting! Unfortunately this street does not meet the minimum criteria for having a speed hump installed because Rollingwood is considered a minor arterial street, is greater than 40 feet wide, and is a transit route. You can learn more about the requirements for a speed hump by visiting the Traffic Engineering page of the city's website here http://bit.ly/1nLNGx6.
The best thing to curb speeding in this area would be to continue asking for Police Department enforcement.
There may be a chance that the intersection of Keats Drive and Rollingwood Drive qualify for the installation of an all-way stop. To request a traffic study, please call the Interim Traffic Engineer at 707-648-4300.
Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!

Just left a voicemail on the provided phone no.
I sincerely hope that the Traffic Engineering could take a look on that and consider the option of having a stop sign feasible.

I agree that a stop sign is sorely needed at this location! It make it safe and easier for local residents to get out onto Rollingwood without fear of being hit. Really bad during scholl start and release times. Not sure it would help .. The city put a stop sign at Keats and Molina years ago and 80 of the people Run it at more than 40 MPH including city trucks, Buses when the was a route there on Keats. Very unsafe! Almost have been hit a number of times due to stop sign runners.
Another very bad traffic area is at Hogan Jr. in the morning, Crazy drivers, uturns over double yellow etc... no turn signals... not stopping for cross walk.. etc...
