Thanks for the report - thanks to previously received reports about this location, the Parks Department is aware of the clogged drains at both the dog watering station and the dog washing station, and they are working on resolving both as soon as possible. Any updates they give to us about these issues will be posted here. Thanks again, Mayor's Action Center
Update from Parks: since the water back-ups at this park have been steadily getting worse and not responding to the usual clean-out techniques, maintenance staff may have to excavate the underground gravel bed which could take several days to complete. They contacted the Stormwater Department and asked them to take a piece of suctioning equipment (that is normally used to clean storm drains) to the park to see if that would help correct those clogs, but the vehicle couldn't enter the grassy areas of the park due to the amount of rain that had just fallen. They will continue to try to rectify the issue - thank you.
