Update from Sanitation: special collection crews can only collect items if they are placed by the curb on by the dumpster in the alley (wherever regular garbage collection occurs.) Based on the photo of the couch, it's on private property and has not yet been clearly discarded, so Sanitation can't pick it up. If this couch is yours, you can move it - if it's not, you might want to notify the owner to move it and post back here so that we can tell Sanitation. Thanks, Mayor's Action Center
