Description
This morning I almost got hit as I was trying to merge onto I175 from 4th St S heading southbound. The car heading north on 4th St S decided to turn left after the yellow markers in the road to turn onto I175. I have seen a couple of people do this and fear that they will either hold up traffic traveling north on 4th St S or hit another car like myself. I would suggest making the yellow markers in the road go down further or making that area a no turn spot to prevent this danger from happening.

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible. If you've already submitted a more current issue report, there is no need to re-open this one.
Thank you again - Sincerely,
Mayor's Action Center

Update from Neighborhood Transportation: roadway modification and/or signage requests for this section of 4th St are the jurisdiction of the FDOT - this was reported to them in 2014, and we will report it to them again.
Law enforcement issues (illegal driving, parking or other illegal activities, noise ordinance violations, etc.) need to be reported directly to the St. Petersburg Police Department by calling 727-893-7780 (for non-emergencies) or 911 (for emergencies) while the violation is occurring.
