Description

Good afternoon,

I work for a business in downtown St Pete on 3rd street and 1st Avenue North in the past year we have had two co workers hit by cars speeding down 1st Avenue North and the most recent incident occurred last week on October 15th approximately around 1:50 pm, my friend and co worker who is 7 1/2 months pregnant was crossing the street she had the right of way according to the camera located near Williams Park on 1st Avenue N. When an employee of A-1 Recovery made a left turn onto 1st Avenue North he hit my friend with his tow which caused her to hit the pavement. If this tow truck driver would not have been speeding to make the light before it turned red. My friend and her unborn daughter would not be in critical condition and fighting for their lives. Please consider reducing the speed limit to 15 mph, just like it is on Central Avenue thank you.
