Thank you for your SeeClickFix notification dated October 24, 2014. Chief Holloway has asked me to respond directly to you regarding your issue with the abandoned vehicle parked on 47 Street between Central and 1 Avenue South. The information you provided was forwarded to Community Service Sergeant Richard Hladik to investigate.

Sergeant Hladik reported that he assigned Officer Rob Arrison to investigate the vehicle which you advised has been sitting for months and has grass growing under it. Officer Arrison located the vehicle and spoke to the nephew of the owner. Officer Arrison advised he was told the vehicle would be moved in the next 72 hours. Officer Arrison issued a citation for the vehicle facing the wrong way and placed a 72 hour abandoned vehicle sticker on the vehicle. He will follow up in 72 hours and have the vehicle towed if it has not been moved.

You guys are great! When I was out on errands this morning I noticed that it has been moved off the street. I'm Just trying to keep my little corner of our wonderful city safe and tidy.....
