Description
Grand Ave Extension runs East to West and gets the AM sun when approaching town (school) and the PM sun when departing. Many, many pedestrians use this road for walking, biking and running (including the SS Cross Country team!). It is a very dangerous, highly travelled road that seriously needs an off road path to use for these activities. Milton did it on Adams Road; when will Saratoga wake up and realize the need for something like this?

Absolutely agree, someone is going to be killed, many walkers, joggers and bike riders on this road. Needs to run from Rowlands to West.

I agree that this would be a good place for a bike path/side walk. Right of way issues here might make it complicated. Perhaps the road, could be widened, with a larger shoulder, and lane markings... this would help a little. The Adams Road sidewalk, I believe is not in the Milton section, but in the Saratoga Springs part of Adams.

Totally agree. I have opened a SCF ticket on this issue long ago and submitted it to the City but heard nothing. At the very least, sidewalk could be extended from Westview Apartments to Frederick Dr turn in. This would provide safe access to Grand Ave, West ave, etc. for all families living in Michael Manor.

All of our main roads need bike paths/sidewalks etc for safety. Maybe it will even make people think twice about driving!!!!
