not that I am aware of. When I first reported it yo the SPCA, the director asked me how did I know the horse was tied out 24/7, he asked I I had been watching it round the clock. @#$% me off so bad, I wanted to slap the crap out of him. This is the type of people running the place I guess. Then he just told me to call someone else. I ride past there week after week and he is still tied to the same post, next to some ag property owned by a produce farm and lived on by the hispanic workers. Across the road there is a dog chained outside and his only shelter is a sky kennel. It's really nice I bet when the rain pours in and the night gets cold. Whey do people even bother to get these animals if they won't take care of them?

I called the Humane Society for Lexington County because I know that the SPCA is a joke, unfortunately I don’t have much faith in them either. I spoke to a girl that sounded like a gum chewing child and told her about the dog and the horse, she replied unless they have a real address for the dog they “won’t” do anything about it. She also informed me they don’t deal with horses and that I needed to call the Lexington Sheriff’s department which I did and had to left a message on Investigator Spence’s voice mail. Why doesn't WIS-TV get involved?

Call an Equine rescue organization like SCARE and you might get better assistance.

Yes because nobody looks into farm animal abuse anymore, not even the sheriff’s department. I called a friend that works for the department and he indicated that he would check on it.
