Today when my recycling was picked up, the guys emptied the cardboard bin into the mixed bin, then threw it all in the truck together. I called DPW and was told they may be hand-sorting right now. Ok, fine. The problem is that when they did this, about 6-7 items had fallen out, and they left them all over the ground. This defeats the point of trash collection if it's going to be left all over the street. This was a weekly problem a few years ago, but has been much better after I spent months calling both the DPW and JRM nearly every week. Can you please ensure that JRM collects the trash and recycling rather than create litter in Malden? Thank you.
