Description

There are large floating rafts of grass in the lake along the shorelines. They put down curly tendrils to anchor to the lake bottom. Then the lake garbage is captured in the grass rafts, i.e., beer bottles, water bottles, etc. Is this type of grass essential to the lake's ecosystem? If not, can it be sprayed and controlled?
