Hey Kris, I was in your quad yesterday snapping photos of graffiti as my quad has been fairly low key lately. I didn't canvas all the streets so it's nice to see that your reporting what I missed. It will make it easier on the cleanup guy too as he can come and clean them all at the same time. Jason is the name of the guy that tends to clean this quadrant, he might do yours as well. A nice guy that does a good job. Together we'll get the upper hand on this stuff!
It really hasn't been so bad. Have you noticed the stencil's of smiling faces& kokopelli around?Had a good meeting at the last Graffiti Forum last Sat. at Ward 6.
I agree with you about it not being too bad. It seems kind of tame over there compared to the SE quadrant. I did notice about 20-30 garbage cans could use some paint to cover graffiti and I might be able to get over there and clean those up sometime in the future. Did you know GD will give your quadrant $25 a quarter for graffiti supplies? I've already spent the money for this quadrant to get the paint I need for the next three months so if we could use the money for your quadrant to buy the paint for the garbage cans there that would helpful. Interested?
Sure, but I'm going to be gone for a couple of weeks, from the 11th to the 25th, taking care of my Mom's yard and house in Carlsbad, CA. I'll hit up Lois for some more supplies when I get back. I am constantly reporting trash cans left out at the curb at mostly the rentals.
I am hoping to show up at the Community Garden for tomorrow night's potluck. I picked up a bug, so I'm hoping I feel much better tomorrow. Stay in touch! Kris
I'm sorry about your not feeling well. I trust you'll find harmony of body within short order! If it happens that I can get over your way to clean up some of the trash cans I'll use the paint I have for our quadrant and you can swap me out a new can or two when you get back. I hope your upcoming trip goes well for you.
