Description
1118 Ashburn is a student rental. If the native shrubbery across the street is not sheared before the students return, cars are often parked on both sides of the street. If the cars on the east side of the street park several feet away from the curb because of the overgrowth, emergency vehicles may not have access to get through that part of the street.. Right now no one is in the house are parking in a way that will block the shearer.

Please note that the address of the rental property is 1120 Ashburn Avenue (not 1118).
Agree with original post that the overgrowth on the east side of Ashburn Avenue (specifically across from 1120, 1200, and 1202) makes the road impassable for two vehicles and creates a blind spot due to the natural bend of the street. Thank you for attention to this safety concern!

However, it appears most of the overgrowth resides on private property, and thus is the homeowners' responsibility.

When the officer drove out to this location they did not find the bushes/shrubs to be in violation of this Ordinance.
