The hedge on 72 nd ave by the airport was also cut down and left in a deplorable condition!

The poorly performing or dying Ficus are being removed to replace with new hedge material , the beds need prepping and planting should begin next week

Are those concrete fences ever getting replaced? It just looks absolutely terrible. Why can't East Pines Blvd. look as nice as the west side of Pines?

Absolutely!! It is sad to see our community deteriorate day by day as we drive on Pines Blvd.

Per official comment above, new hedges were scheduled to be planted back in November. But nothing happened. The stretch of Pines Blvd from the Turnpike to Broward College looks worse every day.

Can the City please explaine me why a chain link fence was installed rather than a different solution? We can all still see through the fence the destroyed concrete deteriorated and demolished fences in addition to the multi-colored wood fences from the houses.

What is the expected time frame? How long is the temporary link fence supposed to stay up? Although, we are thankful that something is getting done at least temporarily, I really hope this temporary solution doesn't become a permanent fixture in our neighborhood driving down our home values.

This privacy fence is a temporary solution, I am not sure of the time frame, we are still awaiting responses from the Pembroke Pines property owners abutting Pines Blvd.

Mr. Denton, if some of the demolished concrete fence belongs to the City of Hollywood, why did Pembroke Pines got rid of the hedges covering them? Pines Blvd now looks like a construction zone. We need a solution to this problem...that is why we pay taxes!

Pines will be adding a privacy wall abutting Pines Residents, we do not know what Hollywood intends to do. This will be closed as a City Issue
