Law enforcement issues (illegal street parking or other illegal activities, unregistered/abandoned/inoperative vehicles in the street, noise ordinance violations, etc.) need to be reported directly to the St. Petersburg Police Department by calling 727-893-7780 (for non-emergencies) or 911 (for emergencies.)
Has anyone tried calling the Non-Emergency line lately? They are not helpful at all. You ask a question, they have no answer. You ask them to send police, they say "I don't know if police should respond to this" If you don't want any more complaints, just take down this website
Thank you for your post, Mr. Green. The facts remain that issues with vehicles in the street are the jurisdiction of the SPPD, and issues with vehicles on private property are the jurisdiction of Codes. Disagreeing with these facts don't make them any less true. SeeClickFix is not the appropriate venue for complaints intended for law enforcement. That has not changed. You may call the SPPD at 727-893-7780 or use their mobile app to submit your complaints directly to them.
If you have a complaint about the willingness of any department to handle requests that fall under their responsibility, you would need to take that up with the administration of that department - call the office of Chief Anthony Holloway should you like to voice a complaint with the SPPD.
