Cleaned out this morning Feb 24 and they are ALL back again. Can't the City stay around to make sure they don't all move back?

The system is completely broken. With 6000 to 7000 people living on Oakland's streets on any given day. This is what happens when our collective elected officials wait until the problem is insurmountable and then cannot come up with a cure. Almost all of these drug and alcoholic addicts or mentally ill or both are not suitable for housing. So here they are just wasting away in are parks, streets, on and off ramps almost everywhere. The whack a mole solution is sure not working. One solution mass internment till they ask for help.

I know there's away, seems like they can issue a stay away order. The city removed the encampment from 29th and MLK, and they've been gone for a few years now. Not sure why.
