Closed Department of Transportation, Traffic and Parking
Due to buses stopping at this location, we are limited to the number of bike racks that can be installed here, which is why we only installed one rack. There are 3 additional racks at City Hall (1/2 a block from this location) which can accommodate 5 bikes.

That is too far, and those 5 racks are often full.
If a space can not be provided here or in the nearby vicinity (which seems doubtful, given that there are never more than 3-4 buses stopped here and the length of the sidewalk between Church and City Hall is many times longer than that), then a bicycle "corral" should be installed across the street or at the closest parking space, in front of the Courthouse.
Simply closing the issue does not resolve the problem that was reported.

We will inspect this area to determine if a larger bike rack can replace the existing one. There is limited space due to the bus stop on this corner. Thanks for the post.
