Hey Cambridge, should we be opening a master issue to track the engineering effort to redesign the roadway here to prevent this from happening? It seems kind of silly for us to create all of these individual tickets that are then closed "Truck moved" only to be replaced the next morning with a new "Truck blocking bike lane" issue.

Thank you for reporting. Issues like double parking, cars in bike lanes, etc. should be reported as they occur to the Cambridge Police Department Non-Emergency line at 617-349-3300 so that units can be dispatched to the location at the time such issues are seen. This system is best suited to respond to service requests like potholes, street lights, rodent issues, etc. that can be assigned to staff and addressed in a timely manner.

However, we will share this concern with the appropriate departments so that this report can be taken into consideration as we study future roadway design and enforcement efforts.
