Speaking of this, it would be good to power wash under the trees downtown (Chinatown, off Harrison) and near the post office where the herons nest. You really have to hold your breath walking around there.

Interesting no one is camping there. It this stuff compostable? I will file an MSR with Caltrans to see if they will screen off the pigeons.

I have seen people sleeping here but they don't stay too long. It's too filthy.

Still full of bird poop. I have seen volunteers doing cleanup of other trash here - and I applaud them - but am concerned for their health for doing a good deed while it is full of bird crap.

You can say this about every bridge - they all need to be power washed once in a while.

It is still just as bad as it was, now with more illegal dumping.

The bird poop under the freeway has been there for no less than two years without resolution. It's literally three feet wide and fifty feet long. In some spots it's six inches high. Thoroughly disgusting of course. Who is in charge of cleaning this up?
