I agree I've been through there to go to fuegos many times it's always like that if there was an emergency esp if there was a fire at the restaurant there wouldn't be a place for fire trucks except for on Texas ave and that's a good distance from the restaurant. Their parking lot is to small for emergency vehicles.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Parking Enforcement responded, and is monitoring the area. The issue was forwarded to the City Traffic Engineer's office.

From the Traffic Engineer's Office: “The Traffic Management Team, which includes the Fire Department, Police Department, and Traffic Engineering will evaluate this street and surrounding streets to determine if parking removal is needed.”

Note that the traffic is Fuegos patrons not people that live at the residence. College students park there and walk to Fuego.

The Code Officer for the area found no parking violations on inspection.

The CS Fire Department found that the existing parking removal along Poplar street serves their needs.

Joe Anderson - YES! Thank you!! Only occasionally are the vehicles parked on the street those of the residents who live on Poplar, and that typically only happens if someone has guests because the driveways are so short. Thank you!!

We have struggled with maintenance, postal service, lawn care, walking, everything because of this issue. Have thought about gathering everyone that lives on this street and go down to the next town hall. Every night.....2 a.m.....drunks with loud music....everynight! Fist fights and hit and runs....Fuego and the parking makes this street unbearable.
