This needs to be addressed properly by removing all dumped material which includes metals, furniture, trash and human waste. It is unsanitary which has become a dangerous health hazard for the entire neighborhood.

Most homeless don't want homes, so why are they allowed to camp in residential and business areas to ruin it for everyone that pays taxes. If I wanted to be near this I would live out by the dump. No more excuses, no more turning your heads, get the city to act together and @#$%ing do something

This is a safety hazard, especially since the occupants stand in the middle of the street and run the risk of being hit by a car or semi.

Sure is and then if it does happen the city of Oakland needs a huge lawsuit for not doing enough to make everyone safe

There have been multiple partial cleanups of this site but the typical pattern has become that the city will send out a task force for a day with a crane, spend one day getting 30% of the material and then leave the rest. We need the city to dedicate the time to finish the cleanup and then follow on police enforcement or this will continue and cost the city more money. I don’t have a problem with one of the residents but the continual hoarding of goods makes walking on the one sidewalk on the road impossible and exacerbates the rodent problem on the street.
