I rent from one of the nations largest landlords, American Homes 4 Rent. I have had several issues with my carpet being unsafe for well over a year and have made several attempts to address them to no prevail. I have one bedroom that is uneven, across half the room if not paying attention you will trip because it has what feels like double or triple padding on just half of the room. In the adjacent bedroom I actually recently fell due to stepping on what feels like a large rock or chunk of concrete under the carpet, I stepped on it without shoes and fell. Throughout the entire house, every seam line is highly visible and fraying. This has caused my vacuum to mess up as large nylon strands get caught in the roller. One area entering the kitchen has an open carpet nail strip that has penetrated through my foot, has caused several tears in my pants as it tends to grab onto the leg of them.
