Updating to report nothing done. However, Dekalb R&D was able to clear a yardwaste bag of leaves from the curb on the same street with a crew of 6 and 3 large equipment vehicles (reported this to R&D two months ago, btw)
Thanks for the reminder SCF, but this report has fallen on deaf ears in DEKALB COUNTY (sometimes you have to shout to get their attention) Roads & Drainage.
As no work has been done, I decided to forward this notification to Dekalb R&D, and copied my Commissioner, Jeff Rader. It's just stupid how long this has gone on.
Commissioner Rader's office gave me a contact in R&D's Asphalt Division. I will contact them, and you can too! For information on plate pick up please contact the Asphalt Department @ 404.297.3912 or 404.297.3833
At LONG last the county has removed the plates. One less headache for everyone. Sorry to report that while this process began with SeeClickFix, the service was essentially useless in prodding the county (which was assuredly aware of the issue through SCF) to action during the 15 months it took.
