I concur, sometimes the traffic is backed up to Wade Avenue.

And during those times on Duraleigh headed north, it's backed up all the way to Blue Ridge Rd - making it difficult for those traveling south on Duraleigh trying to turn left on Blue Ridge. That whole intersection is a mess in the PM.
On the plus side, the recent timing adjustment in the morning at that intersection is much improved, thanks for increasing the length of the left-turn arrows!

Yes! Totally agree! The morning adjustment has worked wonders --- please don't touch that part.
Now if we could get the same thing for the PM traffic.

The traffic control staff has recently addressed the traffic congestion in this area in both the AM and PM travel peaks. Unfortunately there's not enough lane capacity to accommodate all the traffic. The city is going to request the state to extend the length of the dual left-turn bay from Edwards Mill onto Duraleigh. It should help out if constructed, but it wouldn't get built overnight. For the PM peak the staff is planning to test some alternative timing and phasing methods in the near future that's requiring some special programming and wiring to the signal controller box.
