It is impossible to see the traffic coming south on 1st street, when going east up state. With the parked car traffic lining the west side of 1st, it's a recipe for blindsided danger.

I see at least a few people everyday stop on 1st. and State where there is no stop sign and then practically run the stop sign at 2nd. and State.
Maybe take the stop sign everyone ignores on State and 2nd. and move it a block west?

Recently a lady ran the stop sing on State and was hit by a driver heading south on 1st. and then argued with the person she hit.
"You didn't stop for the stop sign!"
"That's because I don't have a stop sign!"
The REAL issue is that people pay NO ATTENTION to signage, changing traffic lights or what others are doing...we can put up a stop sign on EVERY corner and people would just fly through them.
