Nothing has been done at this location. Most of us that travel this intersection daily beiieve nothing will be done until a life is lost. Sad situation. Cars coming off Cromer Road are turning in front of us coming off of Davega Road especially in the afternoon rush hour.
I guess this can be closed because nothing is going to be done, we have been complaining for years upon deaf ears.
This will also affect the area more for Cromer and Davega Roads as the schools re-open added to the new River Bluff High School! This area is a NIGHTMARE coming to your neighborhoods soon!!! Where was the planning? Never should there have been any schools built on Ginny Lane or Corley Mill Road. Motorists are having a very difficult time with school out! Three schools don't belong on 2 lane roads that were quiet and hardly ever any traffic. Placing subdivisions there made it worse. Wait until more fast food restaurants and other plans for more building of consumer places are added to make this even worse. Over 25 years, theses areas going to Lexington were easy to drive with so little traffic lights needed. This all adds to everyone's traveling time and easily made mistakes from the confusion with or without left and right turn signals and the work planned for the beginning part of Corley Mill Road and River Chase Way. And don't forget, there is a cemetery there for funeral processions. How did the neighborhoods let this happen?! Why did the subdivisions take on this small lane of a frontage road called Ginny Lane! This is ASININE!
problem was fixed, but the timer on the davega rd side needs to be longer to let the cars get off of davega and on to hwy 378. times out after 4 cars. 400 people trying to get out and only 4 cars at a time before lite changes.
