The owners of a business clean out there parking lot and pile it in the city street block the traffic. City then moves the snow at taxpayers expense

That is nothing new in New Paltz? In the Village of New Paltz, where there is no commercial property tax rate for all the illegal rooming houses, the village arranges for the residential property tax payers a "Spring Clean-up" which allows all the illegal rooming houses on the street to slide their tenants' discarded goods and clean up materials under the guise of being something other than illegal rooming houses. One pile of snow as an expense is nothing in the village compared to the cost that you in Kingston are subsidizing the illegal rooming houses everywhere? At least snow melts, if you know what I mean?

Today is friday Feb 8 2013 watch for the green John Deer tractor to pile snow along the fence of this business to the curb. When this business does this the snow piles into the street about 2 to 3 feet or more off the curb. Then the cities DPW removes the snow. This is a safety issue since it narrows a busy city street.
