Get in line, unfortunately. We have the s--l--o--w--e--s--t-- road workers in the state in Lexington and Richland counties. Our bridge is going on 5 years and only 1/2 is done closing off part of our Three Rivers Greenway and Diversion Dam on Broad River Road and River Drive. There is no excuse cutting up a park, ruining what was once a handicapped ramp in the middle of the sidewalk of the bridge, bridge workers turning the 4 lane road into a parallel parking lot, a serious wreck where traffic pushed too hard caused a car to go over the side crashing into the side boulders and going straight down into Broad River with no survivors! We had 2 paved trails with their being 1/2 way to Riverfront Park. This is such a small usual bridge nothing fancy. No one can enjoy the millions of dollars spent on the special fish channel with rangers giving tours in the spring, summer, and early fall. We miss the early and late afternoon birds coming in to eat. Fishing here has been cut off on the lower Broad River trail and road area alongside the huge parking lot. Columbia Canal is here as one crosses the Canal's arches to the beautiful Diversion Dam all across the largest part of Broad River. I have been on here almost 5 years being promised months and years as to completion. Anyone who wants to follow my earlier posts and my replies even a couple of months ago can follow "Broad River Bridge and Columbia Canal" or "MIA Broad River Road Bridge and Columbia Canal" and other posts with complete details will have a real eye opening. NO ONE watches these posts nor are they being followed by anyone or person. They don't even have the correct name of the mayor for the last 5 years! The idea of this place is to get as many people to vote and comment on any complaints, and maybe you'll win the publicity award!!! Look at who they list as to who's watching or who received this information. Then call WIS-TV or the mayor or whomever they have listed; you will find out they6 don't know anything about your complaint!!! I believe mine is listed as Anonymous10.
