We are desperately concerned with the radical intensification of dwelling spaces within such an already congested area. No thought seems to be given to the strain on all services - including the long-past-capacity Yonge subway line. The particular condo in question gets dumped into an area not meant for heavy traffic - Doris is a small avenue at this point, and feeds into a strange little intersection with Greenfield. Clearly, planners never intended this location for access by hundreds of new residents. Abdication of responsibility, dismissal of long-term consequences, toadying to developers for short-term balance sheets: almost criminal lack of due diligence and care by those elected or hired to run our city.
