I was by there around 4 PM it is really a disgusting nightmare our elected official should be ashamed but they are not.

what a joke! they close this issue saying it's resolved..when it's reopened they say they already have another request for this location. Which is it? fixed? or another one is open? Regardless, clean this up before every single resident in Oakland catches some sort of disease and sues you. This is gross and not representative of the amount of taxes paid by residents and businesses in W Oakland. Why should we keep paying our property tax when it's not used towards the area we live in?

To my knowledge there are 4-5 open requests for this exact location. And numerous for this area. Each has received multiple votes from neighborhood folks. The location has gone from bad to worse. The amount of trash has grown. Rotting mattresses, rotting food, rotting sanitary products.. Its awful. And the encampment is growing also.
