Description

There has been a homeless encampment in the grove shafter dog park for a few weeks now. The amount of space it is taking up has slowly increased. The parks department recently came and cut the grass there but seemed to have ignored the tents and just gone around them, despite the multiple reports of the problem on this tool. I don't inherently have a problem with these tents in a park or on the streets, but they do lead to trash, human waste problems, and sometimes hostile encounters. This isn't safe for dogs, dog owners, or those residing in the tents. Those in the tents need to move out of the off leash dog area.
