Wow...so you can call homeless people disgusting but I can't call your intolerance disgusting? That is pathetic. Also, maybe learn to spell. "whether" has an H. I believe a "wether" is a castrated goat. Pretty sure that is not what you meant, no matter how stupid you are. And paying rent is NOT paying tax. Sorry, but it's true.
My post is about these particular people. I don't know their situation. I am not affiliated with sheeesh. I think lots of us are struggling, my post has nothing to do with homelessness. I thought RV's had to be set up in designated areas for long term parking. I also want parking to be available for my tenants. Some people are criminals or addictions has turned them into that. An RV can be a home by the way.
CLM is out of line and can't read. I didn't call the homeless disgusting, and I'll leave it at that.
Unfortunately OPD has a huge backlog trying to rid us of vehicles parked on the street... I think in District 5 it's 2 months. Part of the problem is that vehicles are allowed to park on our streets and need to be moved every 3 days, though this is seldom enforced... this applies to all vehicles, not just RV's. While it would be nice to say RV's are required to park in designated areas so far as I know it's not a law on our books. It's especially prevalent here in the flats, though some areas in the hills have had the same issue.
In my neighborhood... Jingletown... we often have 5-10 RV's parked here whose registrations have long expired, which would normally mean OPD can tow them on sight since they are unregistered. It doesn't happen because OPD is trying to be aware that many of the homeless are not there because they want to be... though some are flaunting the system and would rather be there than paying rent. It would be "nice" if they could dispose of their trash without leaving piles on the street. (and if you need to check on this go to Union Point Park, or the Alameda where there are piles of trash)

CLM, that user didn't actually call homeless people disgusting.
They said they found it disgusting that those of us who pay taxes have to put up with folks who don't. That isn't calling homeless people disgusting.
I'm also guessing that their omission of the letter "h" in "wether" was an accidental typo.
Also, if someone makes enough money to pay rent, they're highly likely to be paying income tax.
I think you're out of line.
