Description
As mentioned in a separate thread on SeeClickFix, the raised crosswalk here needs to be more visible to drivers. New paint (such as arrows indicating the raised crosswalk) might be helpful.

I drove it tonight and this is why it still sneaks up on you.
1. Yellow warning sign is useless at night.
2. The flashing yellow lights are not on.
3. The painted up arrow is the only thing that gives any indication something is there. And that appears to be fading or peeling already.
4. The actual raised sidewalk is brick and does not stand out.
Suggestions:
1. Turn on yellow flashing lights.
2. Paint the raised brick sidewalk and the sloped portion a bright color (that doesn't peel or fade so easily), maybe imbed reflectors in the sloped up portion to better warn drivers.
Again, I don't understand how anybody hasn't sued for a busted axle goin over these things at the speed limits.
They are a great idea, just need more warning.
