Large tree waste (odd months) and large grabage (even months) are collected on the third Wednesday of each month for this neighborhood. Unfortunately people just assume large garbage is collected every month, which is not the case, and put it out assuming it will get picked up. They need to be better informed of the system (water bill maybe?) and when it is acceptable to place large garbage out for collection. This is a violation since this was tree waste month and now it has to get picked up by a special trip from the city or wait until next month's large waste puck up time.

Do you have a neighborhood association? They can help remind people not to do this kind of thing.

@ Angel, thanks for the pick-up info. I will try to get tat changed to more often. @ Tomaluna, No homeowners association and if the city would fine such senseless acts then it wouldn't be a problem, but I guess that goes back to having homeowners associaion.
