Description
The sidewalk between Concord and Beverly st. has multiple locations of heaves and protruding edges
The pitch of several of these heaves are extreme and difficult for handicapped/ disabled.
In winter last year it was made especially dangerous by the lack of residents shoveling.
Now the condition is even more dangerous because the streetlights are out as a result of one pole being knocked down over a month ago
Last winter I personally fell twice and assisted one elderly gentleman who had fallen because of the extreme pitch combined with ice.

It's on 88th, Between Concord and Beverly st. in Morgan Park
The pole and light that was knocked down has been replaced and the wire re-routed from the alley...
But that has still left the other light in front of 974 88th out.
The worst of the heaves are in front of 974/968..and 926 88th Ave
and the stretch of walk in front of the bus bench between the Beverly st split on 88th has both a huge heave and a completely missing section of concrete

Seems the city regards the mobility of seniors and the disabled as a 'back-burner' issue when it comes to sidewalks.
It will be interesting to see if they even bother to repair the heaves this year at all

Although I DID see a man that I assume was from the city taking pictures of the dog crap.
Too bad that's all they can do instead of CLEANING IT UP
