Various shrubs, street trees, oaks and perennials have died since the original installation of the landscaping on Wilson and need to be replaced. I have attached a photo of only one such area. A thorough inventory of all the original plantings and heir locations needs to done to match plant material to the areas where it is missing. Additionally certain plant material like the African Daisies need to be replaced with different plant material. Be happy to talk about getting a group of citizens together to assist in re-planting.

I agree with David that the watering of the landscaping on Wilson Avenue between Tennessee Street and Lighthouse Drive is not adequate to maintain the health of the plants and trees, especially in the drought situation we are experiencing.. A great deal of citizen participation, including the Vallejo Heights Neighborhood Association and its members, went into the preparation of the Wilson Avenue landscaping plan. In addition, it is a waste of city revenues to allow these plants to die because of lack of maintenance and oversight on the part of the City's Maintenance Division.
Please start watering these plants now!

Thank you for the prompt responses. I wanted to make sure that you noted my offer to get a group of neighbors together to help the City workers re-design and install.
