I live on Elroy and ALWAYS have parking issues. I have an invalid mother who lives with us and we have been denied handicap parking because we have a driveway, a very steep driveway that you cannot possibly unload a person into a wheelchair. Today on the iciest day of the year, my caregiver was issued a ticket for parking in the only space available across the street. The Elroy teachers were very nasty when I pulled into the school lot 1 1/2 hour before the 10 am start to give my caregiver that place to park. I agree that eliminating those 6 spots has created havoc for residents on East Francis and Elroy.
