Great! Thanks for the quick response. I would love to see more yellow signs at more intersections. Another suggestion: when we get new signs, can they add wording such as "State law requires stopping for pedestrians in the crosswalk"? Too many drivers don't know or forget that they are always supposed to stop. And I wonder if the current signs actually create the impression that drivers need to stop ONLY where there's a sign. (The way some people think bikes are allowed only on streets with bike lanes.)
A stop sign would be even better. That intersection is horrible to try and pull out from Willard. You have to be in the middle of the intersection before you can see either way.

National Start Walking Day is on Wednesday, April 6th. The in-road pedestrian signs will be in place by the 6th.
