Nuisance bar Open

5th Street And Jefferson Street Philadelphia, PA - Fishtown

Sammy's Place bar has very loud music playing for hours every weekend. They often have a live band playing outside, so loud that neighbors have to close their windows. They do not have permits for live music, and the sound is more like a night club than a neighborhood bar. THis would be fine every once in a while, but not every weekend. They have a pit for pig roasting set up next to where the garbage dumpsters are, which is a health hazard. Police are regularly called by the neighbors, but do not seem to respond as the music continues as loud as ever.

  I couldn't agree more. I live right nearby and I'd say the loud music is more like every night. The bands are one thing but I try to go to sleep every night to the thumping music coming from the bar. Every time someone enters or exits the volume jumps ten times as loud. There are often drunk revelers hanging out or fighting outside till all hours. This place is not a neighborhood bar and shouldn't be operating in a residential area. I agree that loud music is okay once in a while, but every night?

  loitering, drunkenness, and lewd behavior seems to be the standard we set with these 'neighborhood bars'. and it's not only that. people become very intimidating when they become so intoxicated. you can reason with the person but you cannot reason with alcohol. it's a sad situation and it doesn't do much for our quality of life! has anyone talked to the owners?

4:30am Dumpster Pickup Open

918 N. 15th St Philadelphia, PA - Francisville

EDIT: I've called Air Management Services more than a dozen times since I originally filed this complaint. NOTHING has changed, despite them telling me they are working to stop it.

Accurate Trash collects a dumpster behind my bedroom twice a week at 4:30am. I've called the city, my management company, and Accurate, and they WILL not stop, even though they say they will pick up after 8am. What can I do?

  More importantly, get your neighbors to do the same.
  And get your neighbors to fill out the "Sanitation Code Violation" form on http://potholes.phila.gov/

  Graffiti all over trailer still exists. People dump trash in back of trailer. Trailer is an eyesore to the neighborhood. Reported to Philly 311 (tkt # 2162802). Staus shows "completed". Resolution states "unfounded: service request completed." The problem still exists!
