SeeClickFix, Twitter and Your Mobile Phone

Getting Started

SeeClickFix allows you to report issues via web, mobile web, phone, email and now Twitter. Using Twitter is a great way to report issues from your mobile phone and automatically include your location. Here's how to set-up in three easy steps:

  1. Sign-up for a Twitter account.

  2. Download your favorite Twitter app to your mobile phone and set it up with your account. (We recommend twitterific as its easy to pull a googlemaps link which is required for Clicket Creation)

  3. Optional: Follow @seeclickfix. (If you do not follow SeeClickFix we will not be able to send you confirmation direct messages.)

Reporting an Issue

Now when you have an issue to report while you're on the go, here's what you do:

  1. Mention @seeclickfix in a Tweet

  2. Add a Google Maps URL/link that references the location of the issue. (Required. If you're using twitterific get your location with your maps app. before pulling the map link in twitterific. It will be more accurate.)

  3. Any other text will be included in the summary of the issue.

  4. Optional: take a photo and include a URL/link to it in your Tweet.

  5. Wait for the confirmation direct message with a link to the Clicket you just created on SeeClickFix's website. (This will only work if you are following SeeClickFix on Twitter.)
