    This is a new street light that was installed on Allen last year. The light has gone completely dark. Please replace soon. This area has a high instance of vehicle tampering and this light is beneficial in catching this activity.

    Our area has been targeted for some time now with thieves tampering with/looting from vehicles left unlocked. I have been working with 3rd precinct on this issue and there have been a few arrests made. One suggestion 3rd precinct had was to place fliers around the area to remind and let my neighbors know to lock their vehicles and hide items of worth. I spent my money creating the fliers and time canvassing my area to place them. Yesterday, a representative of the city tore them down and threw them away. How is this supposed to work?
