    For weeks..maybe months..the sprinkler system on Lowery Drive (Just south of the southwest corner of The Artisan) has been shooting water 20 feet high each morning. The line obviously is broken in two places.

    Since the city provided electric automobile chargers seem to always be out of order, here is an idea. Why not take the 120V electric outlets in all of the city parking garages and designate several of them in each garage as trickle charges and designate those parking spots for "electric vehicles only (while charging)? This way at least those in need of a charge will no longer have to drive to Bridgestreet (as they are doing now) to charge their cars. The Nissan Leaf (the most popular EV in Huntsville) and possibly others may be charged on a 120 V outlet. This would cost the city nothing other than a little green paint and a few signs.

    The city boasts of being EV friendly but the 440 V auto charger almost never works. It is constantly out of order. The down time goes on and on! Very slow repair!! The emergency number on the machine is full and never takes messages. Also, the directions posted on the machine are completely wrong! Not even close. Surely the city can get their act together on this since every day there are more electric vehicles on the road. This is an embarassment to Huntsville!
