    I’m writing to draw attention to the poor condition of the boat ramp at Red Rock Lake Park. The concrete bricks that comprise the ramp are very uneven, misaligned, and broken in some places. We occasionally use the ramp to launch and land our small pontoon boat. Despite being a fairly small boat, we find this ramp difficult to use, especially since the water levels have been lower the past 2 season. The narrowness of the ramp and the fact that it isn’t straight makes centering the trailer and vehicle very difficult with no margin for error.

    I’m curious is there are any plans to improve, repair, or replace the ramp, especially since the lower water level may make such a task easier.

    The very nice boat ramp at Riley Lake Park serves as a great example of a user-friendly ramp in great condition.

    A tree that is part of Staring Lake Park, had a large limb fall over the fence and into the yard of Staring Lake townhomes. The tree belongs to the city of Eden Prairie, but is obstructing mowing for Staring Lake townhomes.
