    There is an area in front of my house that has been getting worse and worse. This was "repaired" in the past but I think that it was a temporary fix. The dent in the road is probably due to a broken pipe that is underground. I have posted this before because it is also affecting the base of my driveway which is maintained by the city.

    The Thoroughgood House had some large limbs from a pine tree fall into the street. They were moved to the side of the road but the city needs to cut them up and prepare for removal.

    The drain needs to be cleaned out at the base of our driveway. I also want to note that the street is sinking. The storm drain has sunk down a few inches. There may be a leak under the road.

    This is the second time in a month that I have not been able to leave my neighborhood due to over 2 feet of standing water. The first time cost me over $600 to repair my car from water damage.

    My son was leaving the neighborhood the evening of July 31, 2016 and the car was submerged in about 2 1/2 feet of water on the corner of Parish Rd. and Country Club Circle. Some sort of drainage needs to be put in or cleaned out. This is not the first time that this has happened and many people may not know this, but auto insurance does not cover a loss if a vehicle has driven into a flooded area.
