Scarlet Begonias

As I sit on my deck to enjoy the day like the residents of Columbia Park, Central Revelstoke and Arrow Heights, I am reminded that I don't live in those neighbourhoods, I live in Southside and now I must go inside and close up my doors and windows so I don't have to smell the town's poop. It's weird though, I just got my tax notice. I pay the same as everyone else. I just don't get to actually enjoy my property. 11 years I've been living here and putting up with this. I've had enough and so has everyone else in my neighbourhood

The smell is back in Southside. The City has repeatedly said they were fixing the issue. The truth is, an additional lagoon is needed for this growing community. The current sewage treatment plant is not doing the job. We have been putting up with this for too long. If there isn't a plan in place ASAP, I will walk door to door with a petition. A class action suit will be considered against the city, if necessary. I know the residents of Southside have had enough! You increase our taxes to beautify the community for tourists. I will be requesting that Southside residents receive a decrease in their taxes. We deserve a rebate. We cannot enjoy the summer as others to with windows and doors open. You must do better by your citizens.

Not sure if this is City or Highways but trying to come onto the highway turning left from the Hillcrest in the summer can take up to 15 minutes. The traffic is non stop coming from the east. It can also be pretty bad in the winter months as well. Traffic light maybe? Thank you
